History
After the successful hosting of «Ideal Eurovision 2022» in April 2022, a decision was made to hold a Junior version of the contest in November of the same year. Due to internal conflicts and issues, the team behind «Ideal Eurovision 2022» disbanded. As a result, the contest moved away from Leonid Polishchuk's Telegram channel and YouTube page, transitioning entirely to the «Eurovision Live» platform. Additionally, the contest's main editor changed, and starting with this contest, production was handled by Liteef.
The decision to organize «Ideal Junior Eurovision 2022» was made in July 2022. On July 25, the team negotiated with the «Eurofans» public group about hosting the contest on their platform, but plans later changed. On October 22, a final decision was made to hold the contest on the «Eurovision Live» platform, marking the first major public announcement of the event. The format remained unchanged, with 16 countries participating, just like in the original Junior Eurovision. Applications for head delegations were accepted from October 29 to October 30, 2022.
On October 30, the organizing team (UEBU) published the list of heads of delegations. These included: Ignatenko, Brook, Bolivia, Yevlashevo, RD Egor, Olen, Laura, Albert Yevseyev, Skrepka H1L70UIN, Adil, Den, Flag of Monaco, Yaroslav Isikov, Milutinzz, Batyr Ivashchenko, and ESC Niels (who had worked on «Ideal Eurovision 2022»). On October 31, countries were assigned to the heads of delegations through the Allocation Draw.
On November 7, Laura was announced as the host of «Ideal Junior Eurovision 2022.»
On November 16, the running order for the final was revealed, and jury and televote voting began. Voting closed on November 17, and the First Official Trailer for the final was released. The show was initially scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022, but was later moved up by one day. The final took place on November 20, 2022.
